According to the above link, the release date is the 26th of July. In other words, a month later than we had originally been told. At least, I was expecting them to hit the shelves in time for the forthcoming concerts...

I suppose it will give us something to look forward to while we attempt to cope with the post-euphoric stress syndrome that invariably follows a Go-Betweens show!

I'm not seeing a date when I click on the above link. Just the tracklisting. Where are you seeing this date of July 26th? If that is the case, that's par for the course as far as release dates go. You can always expect an album to be pushed back at least a month. I remember when the first three reissues were released, they came out in the US over a month after they were released in the UK.

It's on the homepage i.e.

www.go-betweens.net
under the news section for 5th June (latest entry).

It also says the CD's will be available for 'pre-order' direct from the company, so hopefully will be able to get them a few weeks earlier than the 26th.

But who are Lo-Max records? What happened with Circus? Are they still coming out 26th of June on Wonderground in Japan as the HMV JAP site still advertises?

It's all a little hazy isn't it. I looked on Circus and there's references to 'Lo-Max' on their website, so they must be affiliated somehow.

the reissues are reviewed in the new issue of Uncut. Glowing reviews and a brief interview with Forster
