5{ossibilities of the Barbican. If anyone knows this reference I'll be pleased, if only for the pop value. I see the Irish are dressing up for the gig in Dublin.
Are there any suggested watering holes near the Barbican for a pre-match warm up?

Haven't been there in years, but there's a decent juicer called 'Hand and Shears' on Middle St near Barbican Tube. Really old boozer; decent ale, not too pretentious. Not sure it's open on a Sunday though. A lot of the pubs around there shut up at the weekends because there's no one in the City, ergo no trade. St John St is nearby and there are loads of watering holes there and at least a few of them should be open. Hope that helps.

2 obvious ones down Long Lane, i.e. Barley Mow and Rising Sun, and being the weekend, there shouldn't be too many medics in there!
