Wilco - wasn't sure if we were going to get some more Pottle Kettle Black, I'm Always in Love, Shot in the Arm etc, but they have come up with a different album which I think is fantastic. Takes time but Spiders is brilliant, Handshake drugs and the beatlesque Hummingbird. Recommend - My Morning Jacket and The Hold Steady, the former is southern US gram parsons influenced and the later is rock from Brooklyn, have a listen to the song the Swish by THS - a line in it "this chick she looks just like a patty smythe she was shakey but nice, she said my names rectangle but people call me one hour photo" |

Ron Sexsmith and Richard Hawley are fighting for space on my "stereo". Any other fans of them also ???? |

The new: Kings of Convenience -- Riot on an Empty street Iron and Wine --Our endless numbered days (acoustic, beautiful, well-recorded hymn to mortality and love) |
