Hello everyone- This is my first post as I am a brand-new member, hailing from Texas, land of cattle and little cane. A bit off-topic, but was wondering if anyone had ever heard or even had a copy of Everything but the Girl covering Robert's "Bow Down". I'm not aware of a studio recording, but know they played it live in the mid-eighties around the time of "Idlewild" maybe. I've got a few live shows where they thrown several covers (Smiths, Echo and the Bunnymen, and Sonic Youth ?!!?) but would really love to hear their Go-b's interpretation. Always been a big fan of EBTG's early days, Marine Girls, and Tracey Thorn in general, maybe some of the rest of you are well. Anyways glad to be here... Kelly |
