Hi all. This is Adrianne Burgess. My husband Millard (He always hated that name so he used Mark) passed away after a long bout with cancer. I don't want to take up too much time here other than to say that it was one of his final requests that I say goodbye to all of you for him and to thank you for accepting him into your community. He was always trying to play gobetweens songs for me and I never could see what he saw in that. He said if I listened to some of his choices that it would help me to move on in time. I have to try and maybe I'll look in from time to time. I wrote down what he wanted to say Hopefully I'll go where Grant is and hear all those new songs he's composing. Adrianne, thank you for your generous act. I had no idea he was ill and I suspect no one else on here knew either. I will miss him. If you have any question why, I recommend you to a post he placed on the thread for "seeking consolation." He was a wonderful, honest man. As if you don't already know. Please accept my sincere condolence for your loss. | ||

Adrianne,thanks for posting here and letting us know,It is a really friendly site here and supportive and even if you are not that keen on the Go-betweens you will always have a warm response.Mark will be missed he had always an insightful point of view and like all of us loved the Go-Betweeens. | ||
