I went to the movies yesterday to see the new film by Australian director Ray Lawrence ("Lantana", "Bliss") and playing very quietly in the background of a particularly dramatic scene--in which Gabriel Byrne gets punched in the face for a racial slur--was "Streets of Your Town". The soundtrack album, written and performed by Paul Kelly and Dan Luscombe, does not include the song. Excellent movie, by the way. |

Saw it last night and noticed the song too! Yes, very good film. |
