Since the world is obviously going to hell in a handbasket (at an even quicker pace than it usually is), how about some appropriate music to toast each other with as we gaze out resignedly on the burning embers? I propose "All Her Songs": "This is the time/The pay is cut/The rain falls down like string".... |

Hey, Little Keith, you sure got a lot of posts for a newbie! I suppose the obvious soundtrack for the times is "It's The End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)." Might as well go out rockin'--"Masters of War" is just too grim... |

I'd nominate Here Comes The Future by World Party, or Leonard Cohen's The Future. You hit the nail on the head there, Jerry. He's fallen behind on post-count & come out of retirement to play catch-up. |

Ah, no flies on you guys...I guess I felt the need to reinvent myself, like Madonna used to do all the time. Not having boobies to put little silver cones on (although my man-boobs are gettin there, I gotta admit - it must be all the gut rot spaghetti, not to mention the hard likker), I resorted to a change in moniker...Plus, this situation in the Middle East is truly troubling, so who do I turn to? My GB pals, of course... |

Welcome back, my friend, but don't ever talk about your man-boobs again or we'll be forced to lobby to have you banned from the board. |

Too much steroid use, man...but I won't talk about them again - it really seems to disturb Kurt. (It must titillate him - heh heh.)Don't know why, it's not like I was talking about something dangerous to the very fabric of society, like I dunno, trading discs, or somethin'... I'm flattered by your image of me, but, sadly, I probably look more like one of the dads on the OC. Which I guess is okay - they still seem to get a lot of action, come to think of it! But hey thanks, good to be back(ish)...home is where they have to take you in, right? Still seems like a thriving little coffee klatch, which is good to see. |

'The Earth Died Screaming' by Tom Waits seems appropiate after reading today's headlines from the Middle East... |
