Not sure how rare this really is, any collectors on here might be interested.

It seems to pop up fairly regularly - I'd be curious as to how many were pressed up. Do any Postcard share holders frequent this board?

There were two 'releases' of 'I need two heads' on postcard. Both came in the generic postcard sleeve but the first issue came in a white postcard sleeve and a yellow label while the second came in the more common brown postcard sleeve with brown label. I don't really understand how there were two releases, as the single was apparently a very slow seller at the time - the poorest selling postcard single according to Alan Horne quoted in some book or other. I remember asking Grant and Robert to sign my copy in 1989 and Grant expressed, or who knows feigned surprise at a white and yellow copy turning up in Ireland and explained the above to me! These were pre ebay days of course!

I'd love to know how many copies were pressed from each Postcard release.
I wonder if Porky's was the sole pressing house for the entire catalogue?
Anyone know?

after grant's passing i entered the shopwebsite to buy the live in london cd which i unfortuantely didn't bought at their OA tour. i checked the whole site and wondered that the 'two heads' single is still available. i ever thought those postcard stuff is rare (by the way: i bought it around 1983 or 1984).
the same with cattle and cane and hammer the hammer (which i bought at the same time as 'two heads'). really didn't thought that those singles are still available.

the reason for the postcard different colour presings was beacause the printer ran out of ink/stock whilst pressing up rather than any marketing strategy, two pressing sprobably because the original quantity was never delivered etc etc
