Hi Spence, according to Amazon it's not out until October 24. I'm not pre-ordering because the last time I did that (for the remastered "Born Sandy Devotional") Amazon simply brilliantly forgot about me.

I look forward to finding out what you are talking about with Josef K.

Cheers Randy.:-)
Hopefully you'll like Josef K. There's really an air of originality to them. Plus, they didn't milk it, although Malcolm Ross ahs commented to me in the past that they were really forging ahead with their latter repotoire and it might of been worth their while sticking around a bit... ho hum.

Hey man, we don't know any better (look at our President)...yeah, I've heard that our chocolate is pretty unpalatable to you guys...I think they try to disguise the lack of quality by pumping a lot of sugar into it...I go for Dove when I eat chocolate, just for the record...

If you think Hershey is bad, Kevin, try Ghirardelli.

I like Hershey's. In my first ever night in the US (June 1989) I was staying in Boston College and bought a Hershey's from a vending machine. I got a coke from the machine beside it. That was America encapsulated right there and then for me (well, if R.E.M. were playing on a jukebox and The Godfather II was on a screen in front of me that would have really captured my love of America).

Padraig, you have just reminded me I have still to watch Godfather II which I recorded on my Sky + box last week. Is this your favourite film, or just pertinant to this thread?

It's one of my favourite American films that came out - and I'd seen - prior to arriving in the US in 1989. I could have said To Kill A Mockingbird if I'd thought of it; but I'm not sure I saw that before 1989 anyway.

Godfather II: LK likee very much...our chocolate may suck but we make a pretty bad ass gangster movie! Kev, just out of curiousity, what do you consider the best brand of chocolate from the UK? If I ever see it, I'll try it...

The most famous brand is Cadburys. My favourite is called Dairy Milk which is just chunks of plain milk chocolate. Cadburys have a whole range of stuff http://www.cadbury.co.uk/EN/CTB2003/

We also have Snickers and Mars bars etc, they originate in the States dont they?

Yeah, I've had Cadbury's...good stuff...I thought you might throw some exotic stuff at me I hadn't heard of...Yes, they do, but I don't think they're made by Hershey's - I think Mars Co. is a completely separate conglomerate...

With this thread and the prettiest female one, I think we can we board folks have covered everything!

If you are looking for exotic stuff, Thorntons are pretty good. They sort of specialise in gift wrapped stuff, for birthdays, anniversaries, christmas etc. Lindt chocolates are good, think they might be Swiss. The Swiss have a reputation for being the masters of chocolate making, suppose they have to be famous for something!
