Hope this is in the right category and I'm sorry if you all know about this anyway. But I got a bit of a surprise this morning which I would like to share. My daughter (21yrs) came to breakfast and put a CD in the player. She’d been ‘late night shopping’ and she’d bought yet another CD. (We are Queensland, Aust. btw). Suddenly “Finding You” started up and I was spooked. I asked, “What is that CD?” She said "brightly" it was her latest purchase which she said was really cool because it had “laid back music” featuring some on her (and mine as it turned out) artists. Long story short, she’d bought “lazy sunday” a 2 CD compilation by EMI 2006. When the chorus of “Finding You” came on she started singing along as if she'd known the song forever. I’d never played “Oceans Apart” to her before because she has her own very vast collection of eclectic music. |

Touching story, Ms. M...maybe "Finding You" will come to be Grant's "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay": haunting, plaintive and summational of everything that was great about him. |
