Any Beta Band fans out there? There is such a trong similarity between Beck's Elevator Music and Beta Band's Dry the rain, or even Human Being, go on take a listen, dod BB rip off Beck or did Beck rip off beta Band!

Sorry, my panic over, but you know we should be concerned by these things!!!! LOL

spence, yesterday i listened to heroes and zeroes of the fabulous Beta Band (see the listening thread).

the beta band is -sadly was- a fantastic band of its own. to describe the whole magic and class of this musicians is (at least for me and my language problem) almost impossible. i like beck too, but more the folk and K-records stuff than the 'funky' ones. the new beck cd is unknown to me until now, but to compare i listen to a 30 second snippet of the inormation. yes, spence you are right. but who rips off from whom? i don't know. probably no one.

how horrible this typing errors are....

strange apparition and elevator music seems to be most similar to the beta band.

btw: some excellent tracks are on the new beck cd. some i don't like.
