It would be nice to have Pete's participation on here again but I remember him announcing after Grant's death that he would not be visiting the board any longer. Maybe Padraig can let him know he's missed. I don't think Andreas is gone. In fact he recently posted about the Lou Reed concert. | ||

Spence is an considerate man. That's very nice. I am well and I am not gone. I still read the postings. I just have less time. I can only post in the evening - and that is normally the time which is reserved for the family. And I try to learn to play the guitar. Sadly I am not a natural. So it is a lot of hard work for me. One of the reasons for my silence is my passion for John Fahey and his music. I think it is boring for you if I always mention John Fahey, John Fahey and John Fahey. And, indeed, i am not much into new and current music at the moment. The most of it bores me. So I don't have much to say with substance. But a few concerts appears on the horizon. And maybe the one or other is worth to write about. Like Kevin's favourite female artist Joanna Newsom or good ole' Bobby, which i will see for the first time (fter years of constant ignorance). Lou Reed's 'Berlin' in Berlin promises a lot. Maybe I will go to the Laura Veirs concert. Ben Weaver will come to Berlin, too. And Wilco. But I haven't heard their new album and Wilco never have made the way to my heart. But as Spence once said: ''You should see them live''. I will think about it. Many greetings Andreas | ||

hi andreas we're trying to pull rehearsals together to do some gigs yes. First off ther'll be some in England, we might hopefully be doing some swopsies gigs with a German band on the same label, have to wait and see, can't promise anything. I'll let you kow when there's something coming up. |
