  I can't for the life of me get this to open. I'm gonna try to track it down at the Guardian's site. Why does this always - and only - happen when you try to post urls from the Guardian? Very strange. |

  Aaah I see.  Joe, I'm surprised you don't like Marquee Moon.   It's essential for guitar lovers. But it isn't all OTT plank-spanking. See No Evil,Venus, Prove It, Friction & Guiding Light. Are all shimmering, concise pop ditties. The title track can grate a bit, I agree. |
