Why is it always the states/regions that have the least ability to support themselves independently that make the most noise about wanting to secede? What's Vermont going to survive on? Maple syrup sales? And how about the South? If they'd succeeded in establishing their own country after the Civil War, they'd be getting economic aid from Puerto Rico right now. It's like a trust fund kid threatening to run away from home. They'd make it as far as the Greyhound station before turning back. | ||
