I apologize if posts like this are unwelcome; just let me know, and I'll go away and leave you alone. I just thought this group might be extremely well-qualified to answer the following:

I'm looking for a 45 by the Australian band Charlotte's Web called "Heart Trouble" on (I think) Mighty Boy Records. Probably from the early 90s. Does anyone have any info on this band, or better yet, a spare copy?

Also does anyone know on what release the Triffids' track "MGM" appears on?

best,

jon

Jon, I have no idea where you'd find Heart Trouble but there is a little bit of information on Charlotte's Web in Chris Spencer's Who's Who of Australian Rock eg the band comprised Will Akers (an occasional Triffid), John Bannister, Mandy Barnes, Craig Chisholm, Felicity Dear, Mandy Haines, Chad Hedley, Greta Little, Laurie Mansell, Mark Rettig, Kim Skipworth (whose name I saw in the credits to some tv show or other a few weeks ago), Cathi Smith, Tim Underwood, Michael Wilenski and Michael Zampogna and released the singles Big Letdown (87) and Heart Trouble (90) and the cassette Flies in the Face of (88) and a CDEP Short Time Straight (91).
As far as I know the only vinyl release for MGM was on the compilation album Beyond the Southern Cross - it had originally appeared on Dungeontape and Son of Dungeontape. See http://www.wminc.com.au/cgi-bin/journal.cgi?folder=dmcdiscog

David is entirely right about the Triffids MGM. Two songs were released from The Dungeon Tape recordings on the European only double LP 'Beyond the Southern Cross', the other song being 'My Baby Thinks She's A Train'. There was no other official release of it.
