Weird. I mean, if you really found him, wouldn't you - you know - alert the proper authorities? I mean, despite Bushco's inadvertent attempts to make him a sympathetic figure, bin Laden definitely needs to be brought to justice. By "justice" I mean running a gauntlet of 9/11 widows and widowers bearing sledgehammers and then being dropped from the tippy top of the Sears Tower. After that, he can enjoy due process. | ||

Yeah, I suspect he's being "kept" alive by the US, or rather, BushCo has no intention of tracking him down. That way they can use him as a bogeyman whenever they feel the need to scare christians and the GOP and the like. Those doctored Bin Laden tapes that surface occasionally seem to pop up when it's convenient for Bush. Apart from that, BushCo must know that finding/imprisoning/executing Bin Laden would only make him a martyr to his followers, which would undoubtedly cause big problems. I mean, they'll only do this if it serves their interests. If Spurlock really did manage to track down and get face-time with Bin Laden - which seems highly unlikely - BushCo would be majorly screwed, obviously. | ||
