Peter , I made up a comp recently that had tracks 1,2,3,10,15 and 18 from yours on it - scary stuff.
It also had tracks from New Pornos and Panda Bear but not the ones that you chose, and a second track, Raver, from the godlike Burial album.

That's the spirit Padraig! Is this about quantity or quality though?!
Are Ted Leo and the Pharmacists worth seeing? I've never heard of them but was looking up NYC music venues for next week as my wife and I are off there for the 1st time and I see he is listed to play.
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I couldn't find a single gig that caught me in 5 nights in New York, it seems there is something on every other night of the week in Dublin these days if you had the cash/ear drums/liver/babysitter etc to go!
I haven't heard about eight of your tracks listed above, will investigate further.

Quality of course Peter; I was just filling up the 80 mins with what I could find.

Ted Leo makes very good power pop. I imagine he's great live.

You can find (legal) free mp3s of several of the tracks above at http://www.avclub.com/content/feature/th e_best_music_of_2007

Speaking of legal, are you a barrister? If so I know someone in Sydney who knows you!

Thanks for the link Padraig.
I'm not the Peter Ward you speak of but we've met, I was at a Christmas party he threw a couple of weeks ago! He's a barrister from Navan who ran for Labour in Meath a few years back, a hell of a nice guy.
I found an old football card in the attic a while back and have my youngest lad convinced I played with Brighton and Hove Albion in the eighties, shortly before the cosmetic surgery!
