Greetings, all. I first heard the Go-Betweens when they played a session on John Peel's show back in, oh, Postcard days - 81? 82? 83? I taped 1 song, which was a long, stop and start, arty number culminating in the line 'I shot you with my camera...caught you doing things with him...' Then I saw them at the L.S.E shortly afterwards... Anyway, I'm here today to say anyone in London is invited to our club night - 'The Penelope Tree'. details at http://www.thepenelopetree.co.uk/ we don't just play 'Cattle and Cane', but other bits and bobs too, and like minded types of music. Right, I look forward to having a proper look around here, now I've got my advertising out of the way!! |
