Does anyone else think this tune sounds just marvelous? You can tell the lyrics need an additional polish, but the band's performance (especially the violin!) is spectacular. If I walked into a club and saw the GB's for the first time playing this song, I'd ask, "Who ARE they?" |

I agree, Alfred. The whole band on the track sounds a bit more rejuvinated after the more acoustic (less band focussed?) '16LL'. A sign of what could have been. Think it sounds a little like the Waterboys though. |

I have had this demo in my collection for 13+ years and I must agree! It is one of the shining moments featured on the Botany Sessions. |
