I second Tim's motion. How about an official band t-shirt offering? I wonder if anyone has a copy of the G-B's promo video collection from some years back that they'd bust me a copy of? I'd certainly trade you something in return. Many thanks. |

here here! Let the sharing begin. Most band sites have some type of shirt/merchandise for sale. |

There's a copy of the video singles going on E-Bay, 3 days left: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=60980&item=6354783719&rd= 1 |

Perhaps a Go-Betweens DVD would be in order? Sounds like a crazy idea, but I am sure it'll happen. I'd love to see the Gobs Countdown appearance and the Toowong Music commercial with Grant doing the card routine a la Bob Dylan in Don't Look Back. Do bands or the record companies own the videos? I've been told that (for example) Chris Bailey owns the early Saints clips and not EMI, which is a reason why there wasn't a bonus DVD with the recent Saints boxset. This of course could be an isolated incident. |

the record companies own the videos that's why they get lost. |

This thread reminds me to ask: Has anyone here have the Brisbane music special screened on Beatbox in about 1988? I used to have it but it's lost. It has great interviews, a better quality excerpt of "Your Turn My Turn" than the one on Send Me A Lullaby reissue, and the Toowong Music ad (BTW what is that song Robert's singing "who needs a pyramid to keep your jewels in.."?) |

I am genuinely not one to keep on annoyingly promoting things I had a hand in (I know I give a different impression), but this is discussed in my book p. 68. It was a song written specially for the occasion. I didn't realise that special was shown on Beatbox - was this the one that ended with Ups and Downs? - I was just talking about that with Greg Wadley yesterday. |

Stay tuned. I have this Brisbane music documentary somewhere gathering dust on an old video tape. I plan to watch it over the weekend and can give a brief review of the contents. |
