For those of you living in the US, did anyone else see the reference to the go-betweens in tonight's episode of '24'? There was a defence company called 'Mclennan-Forster'...Suffice to say no-one I was watching with got this at all. I think one of the producers of '24' posted something about this many months ago on the Tallulah list. A prime time mention on Fox - next thing you know they'll be on 'American Idol'... |

How cool! I love when TV shows and movies do stuff like that. Like in Heathers where the school was called Westerberg High! |

Speaking of which.....on Ireland/UK TV theres this ad about a car (Volvo??) where the guy is reminiscing about his youth and theres a flashback where he's splashing around in puddles of water ....the music accompanying is remarkably like the intro to The Clock..anyone notice?? or is it just me??? A tour in May/June...ohhhhhh yesssssssss!! |

Saw that episode of '24' in the UK on Sunday and was quite shocked! I didn't know about the '24' Producer link. Talk aboout friends in high places! There was something similar happended recently in the UK on the Police TV drama 'The Bill' (terrible show!). The villains in a particular episode, which was aired last year, were named Love, Blake and McGinley as one of the writers on the show is a big Teenage Fanclub fan! This sort of behaviour should be encouraged! |

Anyone who's interested in Coronation Street should know that Jack and Vera Duckworth have the same painting on their wall that appears on the cover of the first Tindersticks lp. |
