I realise the reissues have been out a while but I'd be grateful for opinions regard the quality of each album's additional CD material. Please help! | ||

But to avoid sounding like a complete poo-butt, I'll throw out that the bonus material is generally pretty interesting, though at times disappointing. I think that Lullaby, Spring Hill Fair, and 16LL probably have the best bonus discs, at least in terms of cohesion and sheer quantity of good/interesting songs to listen to. The bonus discs for the other three reissues definitely have some amazing, essential songs, but also have some dross to wade through. Lindy mentioned a few times here that she thought it odd that they released what to her amounted to noodling jam sessions. But if you're obsessive enough, you'll find they're all worth owning. |
