Did Robert Forster and Grant McClennan, as a team, write songs for other artists without the Go-betweens ever recording, or performing, them themselves? This is rather interesting! | ||

It is an interesting idea, Brook, but I don't think it ever happened. Forster, on his own, had his wife's band Baby You Know record a song called "I Love You Still" which he and Grant demoed for the 7th Go-Bs LP of the '80s that never was. I have not heard the track and it is no longer on the Baby You Know mp3 page as it used to be. I couldn't imagine many other people doing a Forster song. |
