Anybody score a copy yet? Being quite the Beach Boys fan, I guess I'll be having it. Though I have a lot of BBs in my collection, I've never actually heard POB. |

indeed a must have, mr. smith. POB is a classic album with a lot of outstanding tracks. dark, emotional. bamboo, the never released album, is good, too. i haven't my copy until yet, but it will arrive soon. curious about the different mixes, the booklet and the sound of this new cd. as i told in a previous posting a few weeks ago, i should have sell my old CD copy about a year ago and i could have been one hundred bucks richer. |

I have it on order. Like LK, big BB fan here too. My faves beingSunflower and Surfs UP (not just because they were eventually released together as one, but because i beliebve they never topped the songwriting on those two beautiful original albums. POB, has one of those covers that intrigues too, that face, a thousand lives by picture! I have read many great reviews, can't wait. I pride myself on looking like ol Dennis, until quite recently, having lopped off the biggest beard I had ever owned and chopping a foot off my hair too! |

I have a CD-R of POB stashed away somewhere. I should find it and give it a listen. Been years since I've heard it. Spence - you with a Dennis Wilson-esque beard?! Now, that I've got to see! |

Lindsey Buckingham included a nice Dennis Wilson tribute titled DW Suite on his 1984 album "Go Insane". I remember that POB cover from 30 years ago. I was pretty deep into FM's Rumors and the whole Southern Rock thing back in 1977, so the BB were pretty much taboo for me. Although my southern rawk friends couldn't understand my Gram Parsons and FBB jones, and it didn't stop me from playing Gilded Palace and Grievous Angel incessently. |
