Anyone ever note the similarites of A House and the GB's.. Both vocally and overall. It's funny, Dave Couse ( From A House ) has a voice that's kinda mid Grant and Robert, somewhere in between.. Anyway, did anyone here see the two bands together on that famous US tour??? BTW www.davecouse.com has some great examples of what I'm talking about earlier.. Loads of MP3's |

'I am the Greatest' is a fantastic record - has been in my top 10 since it came out. They never came close to matching it though. The title track is an all time classic. Haven't heard it in a while so off to play it now in fact! |

'I Am The Greatest' is one of my favourite ever albums also. I just wish it was available on CD - I bought it on tape when it came out. They were great live, as was Dave Couse when I saw him. I did a radio programme with A House guitarist Fergal Bunbury once, about Public Enemy's It Takes A Nation Of Millions. He is a huge fan of PE. I asked him, off air, about The Go-Betweens and he said that yes, the band were all GB fans. |
