Has anyone heard any more news about the elusive David McComb/Triffids biography? I see that it is listed, along with a photo, on Amazon.co.uk. Puplication date Feb 2005. It says there is a 4 to 6 week wait if you order it. Has anyone seen this book in the flesh? Has anyone held it in their hands?

I'm told that the writing book hasn't even been finished and that the publisher(s) are being a little too opitimistic. At least the cover's there- that's a start.

this book was posted on Amazon last year with a six to eight week order time which was total fantasy, eventually they wrote back saying the book was not available...looking forward to getting my hands on it eventually whenever it sees the light of day.

Helter Skelter, its publisher, have it listed for release in November 2005. There's a thread on it over at the Triffids forum. www.thetriffids.com/forum

This book has been spoken of since David died in 1999. I will believe it exists when I hold it in my hands.
