Not strictly GBS related but was strange to have Hunter S Thompson kill himself. I believe America needed a voice like his more then ever. That is the second one of my fav authors lost by their own hand over the last year or so, the other being Spalding Gray who was a gifted artist and writer based out of NY I recommend anyone interested to get a copy of his book Swimming to Cambodia.

I saw Spalding Gray deliver an amazing monologue in Dublin one time, during the arts festival. I feel privileged to have seen it.
