Sean used to have an excellent Go-Betweens/Robert Forster web site, some of you remember? I'm one of his older sister, and we are looking for him. Have any of you heard from him at all? We're worried. Phone cut off. Moved, left no forwarding address. (according to long beach, CA police) He wasn't mad at us, as far as we know. We love him very much and want to just know that he's doing fine. I don't want to embarrass him, but we've tried other things, and no luck. And worried. Heartsick. Thank you. Respectfully, Joy

I'm very sorry to hear of your situation, I remember Sean as being a real champion of the Go-betweens in pre-reformation days, and indeed something of a pioneer in the early days (for me at least) of the world wide web. I hope you get news soon, in the meantime you and Sean will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I concur with fsh. Sean's was one of the first websites i can recall visiting - no idea how many years ago now. I think he even had a live version of '...Health Spa' on there. Was the first time i realised i wasn't the only one who loved the band as much as i do. I hope he gets in touch. Try the tallulah listing aswell Joy - might reach some other people through that.

This is some sad, worrying news. I too have fond memories of his website which I often visited in '98-'99, just as I began my love affair with the band. I'm sure I printed off several old articles and interviews from there in my early day fandom. I recall somebody posting the link for an archived version of his site sometime last year, though not all of the pages worked. I sincerely hope for the safety of Sean and that he'll be in touch with his family soon.

Just a short note to let everyone know that Sean is safe and well and has been in touch with his family to let them know his new whereabouts.

This is great news, I look forward to a time when Sean is active again in our little Go-Betweens community. He is remembered so fondly amoung those who saw his website and I'm sure we would all love to hear his input.

We got back in touch with Sean again,
Some good friends on the web knew where he'd been.

(sounds like a lyric for RF)
