I saw this amazing Swedish folk singer play live with her band . She writes and sings in swedish . Her charisma and intesity and also the lyrics when translated to engelsk are like a Bergman film . She has a strange personal mythology aswell. The live show was class . Reminded me of some of the more intimate Gobetween shows ( Jazz Cafe , London, that sort of thing ). Understated and full of integrity. The band were cool aswell , handsome young trendy nordic blokes who just hung in the background
( pro musos trained in jazz and rock me thinks ) . They had this cheesy cuddle and a thank you to all the band members ( including a a little girl with flowers) at the end of the show , must be a scandanavian thing but it was mindblowing and well worth tolerating lillehammer and its weirdness for. remember advice you pay for is worthless. advice given is priceless. If you get the chance to see her perform.Do take the chance .
