My 3 1/2 year old daughter really likes Oceans Apart. Having the album on made it very difficult to get her to eat her spinach pasta this evening as she was bopping away to the album from the band she calls The Garbage Beans. By the way, do not believe the nay-sayers who just The Go-Betweens to be frozen in time 20 years ago - Oceans Apart is superb and just gets better with every listen. Even the couple of tracks I did not like too much at first now sound great. Definitely the best of The Go-Betweens 2K albums. |

So far I've heard 'Finding You', 'No Reason to Cry' and 'Here Comes a City' and love them all. How weak is 'This Night's for You'? It's the only song never mentioned in (glowing) press reviews to date. 10 days and counting... |

This Night's For You could be something like 2005's Streets Of Your Town actually, but when it comes to the chorus it turns out to be a rocker rather. It's good though. |

This Night's For You isn't a stinker, in fact its a bit of a grower but compared to 'No Reason To Cry' and 'Finding You' it's Grant least thrilling effort. Still it's a fantastic album. |

My four year old daughter is quite partial to Kraftwerk. Good on her. |

Peter, check out Raymond Scott's music for children. It is Kraftwerk-type music done as lullabys and sweet melodies for babies. See http://raymondscott.com/ |

Kraftwerk rarely get a mention on these pages which is a shame. Great music - almost timeless. I hear they're about to release a live album but how much of it is actually live? Very enigmatic band. |

I saw Kraftwerk in Sydney a couple of years ago. They were absolutely awesome. The four of them just stood behind lap top computers. They might have been sending emails to each other for all I know or care, it was still great. I think what they do is remix the music live as the versions were certainly different than on the albums. |
