I see Oceans Apart is in the expensive shops, its on iTunes for download BUT my preorder, through Lomax and simbiotic, has not turned up and I don't know when I will get it. This is very frustrating indeed. Has anyone else got the album in the UK or Ireland in the post today through these channels? | ||

Same situation with me. I pre-ordered as soon as it was possible to. Sent a cheque to Simbiotic. So far no album. I've checked my account with them and it says status "authorised", but not "dispatched". Anyone have any idea what that means? I have actually emailed them asking what the situation is.. Waiting... | ||

Hi Duncan H, did you receive the limited edition 2 disc set from Simbiotic? I was planning to buy from Lomax (via Simbiotic). However, when you go to buy from their online store the single CD edition of Ocean's Apart is displayed, with no mention of the bonus disc. Amazon.co.uk quite clearly offer the 2 disc edition. I'd rather buy through Lomax/Simbiotic but if they can't get their act together... | ||

I checked my Credit Card and the money was debited on the 21st, yet on Simbiotic's site, it says waiting for authorisation, and I have yet to see it. I too have emailed them and am waiting on a reply at present. | ||

Hi there Simbiotic posted out all the orders on Friday so any slight delays are down to the depressing vagaries of the British Postal service i.e some will arrive on Saturday and others a couple of days later. Everything was sent first class. Enjoy the LP. Kind Regards Claire | ||

Yep - mine was the 2 disc set. I live in the middle of England, so maybe that's why I got my CDs before others have. | ||

If its any consolation, I still haven't got my tickets for Chelsea -Liverpool through the post and the game is in two days - thanks to the depressing vagaries of the richest club in the land and the post office combined. Still I do have Oceans Apart and the bonus disc is sounding mighty good. Will save the main event to listen on the iPOD after a stressful day at work tomorrow. | ||

Niall W: Has yours arrived yet? Did you get any reply from Simbiotic? My credit card payment went through on 25th March and no cds yet. I don't believe the delay can be due "to the depressing vagaries of the British Postal service". | ||

not that I know of as yet. I am expecting today, as I did yesterday and Monday. If Claire (above) says they were posted Friday, I, in Dublin, would expect to have it today. I'll find out later. | ||

Limited edition already sold-out ? I couldn't wait saturday to go to Aachen to buy it. I've command it through Amazon.de. Like that it will climbs in the German chaarts. But they have to count me as a belgian fan if they look at the sales to organize the next tour ! | ||

I still have not received mine in the post yet, so I am not impressed at all. Preordering is a bit of joke if you get it after they are available in the shops? I'll think twice before I do it again for a album I want to have on release day. | ||

I can understand that the post may be a little delayed getting to Dublin, but I'm in Brighton. The Lomax email said the credit card wouldn't be debited until the discs were in stock and I thought I'd be getting it early! | ||

Hi Everyone Once again, apologies for the few who haven't received your copies of Oceans Apart yet. We know how long you have been waiting for the LP and totally understand how frustrating any extra delay must be. Once again we have been assured by Simbiotic that all existing orders prior to release were mailed out by first class post on Friday 22nd April. We ourselves have experienced some terrifying delays on promo copies that were mailed out first class to journalists for review which is down to the depressing state of the UK postal service. With large numbers of postal orders it just seems to be case that few unlucky indiviaduals bear the brunt of the GPO's ineptitude. This is it, I am livid, today the album has still not arrived. I am pissed off big time now. There is f-all point in preordering if I will now get it a week after it has been officially released. What a joke, Lomax and Simbiotic I'm referring to you. As long standing GBs fan, not having the album as early as possible is a major disappointment. I will not bother with this preordering lark in future, total waste of time and it appears like some sort of racket.....for other readers excuse my rant but I am genuinely upset. | ||

Yes, I'll be at Concorde too. And no, my album didn't arrive this morning either. ACcording to the Symbiotic site it is 'Authorised' but no dispatch date is given. My card however was debited on 29 March!!!! Not happy at all - Doubt it will arrive til next week now. | ||

i have also received an email saying they are sending it to me again and it must be the post or something. I just better get the extra disc version I ordered. Yesterday, my sister got hers in the post from Amazon,they posted it on Wednesday from the Uk to Ireland. I bought it for her. Yet, me who preordered two months ago have still not got mine. This is lame and is ultimately unfair to fans and the band. |
