I was just wondering if David still contributes to this board and if so what he thinks of Oceans Apart? I really enjoyed his book and have always welcomed the chance to read his thoughts on all things GBs. |

Rob, thanks for your question and your kind words. I am acquainting myself with the record slowly and while I like it a lot I don't feel I have anything substantial to say at the moment. Today I started writing a preface to the Italian edition of the book (!) and just as I started writing my sister called me to say G&R were on Radio National's The Deep End (a great show, generally, by the way)... they played three songs... it was all convivial. I made sure I got positive mention of this message board into the preface too. |

You can hear the interview on the ABC Radio National website. Try www.abc.net.au/rn/arts/deepend/ The show was on April 29. The Robert and Grant segment starts about 24 minutes into the second half of the show. Robert reveals he never finished his degree at Queensland Uni! |
