Just wondering Lindy what you think of the new album (objectively or otherwise)? Haven't seen you on here in a few weeks...

What drummer, Not Lindy?!! The real Lindy should have played on the album and it would have sounded fabulous then! If Amanda would have come back as a guest (at least) shed've been able to lay down about a half-dozen instruments. Boy, I'm puzzled! But anyway, the drummer you're thinking about (Glenn Thompson) IS a bit rubbish, I agree to you there.

Careful Brook, rumour has it that Not Lindy has been banned from posting on this site by its over zealous administrator.

Brook, I don't think Lindy could have done a better job than Glenn on the new album. I listened to Before Hollywood the other day, and as charming and idiosyncratic as it is the drumming is all over the place.

James, your mom was all over the place last night, as charming and idiosyncratic as she was.

Lindy's drumming on Before Hollywood had *soul*. To me, that is crucial.

I think Lindy might've really added something unique to most of their post-comeback songs, and that Glenn, while doubtlessly a good, solid drummer, is a bit more conventional in his approach. But in all fairness, maybe he was told to play that way. Who knows?

Post, baby, how about finding another insult for people you disagree with? The 'Mom' one is getting oh so boring.

Dear Post-Coital. Being British I unfortunately don't have a 'mom'.

Oh right, you have a 'mum.' I figured you were sharp enough to do the translation yourself. ;)Ah, the wonder of language barriers.

I must confess that the use of the word 'mom' says it all to me.
