Hi,
I just read that the two able label singles are being re-released in January 2009 on the Little Teddy label (no I have never heard about it before). Apparently the singles are available now from some boutiques ( www.unisex-mailorder.de ).

GO-BETWEENS - Lee Remick (7"-Single)
New! 7" Vinyl in a ltd. edition of 500 copies with original artwork!
This is an official rerelease of The Go-Betweens' first single for the 30th anniversary. Both songs written by Robert Forster. Recorded at Sunshine Studios, Brisbane in May 1978. Originally released on the australian Able Label in 1978.

GO-BETWEENS - People Say (7"-Single)
New! 7" Vinyl in a ltd. edition of 500 copies with original artwork!
This is an official rerelease of The Go-Betweens' second single. Recorded at Sunshine Studios, Brisbane in May 1979. Originally released on the australian Able Label in 1979.

Litte Teddy is a small, but fine label from Munich ( Germany ). They released some TV Personalities stuff and the Bats“ National Grid album ( for example )

I will shortly be trying to sell rather reluctantly, but due to financial issues,an original copy of each single. The copy of lee remick i am parting company (no pun)with i bought from discovery records way back in 1988 for £120.The reason i paid so much for it was that it was,and still is the only copy i know of where the labels hadnt been stuck on.I believe it came from the vaults of a local australian radio station. The single is in lovely condition and hasnt been played for 20years.It has the original white labels on it,and anybody who has peeled back the able label will see the standard label underneath. It isnt a copy,if youve seen the copies you would know that they do not match the original. The single has the smell of the other copies i have(i managed to pick up 4 over the years),and is probably one of the rarest items ive come across.it pains me in some ways to part with it,but ive had my enjoyment from it for too long, its time another fan got a chance to.Hopefully if i can i will manage to sell it before it goes on ebay,as i have never worked out how to sell stuff on there. If anyones interested i insist it goes to somebody who will treasure it like i have.I will be selling a pristine copy og people say also, standard issue,i crashed my car and need to raise a bit of cash to buy a new one,as i only got a measly 350 right off.
