He hasn't gotten his teeth into his standard of lyrics in about 15 years IMO.

..bit tough on 'M's lyrics I thought, ' You are my Quarry' was his best for a while, just my view I suppose.

With OZ on the agenda for coming tour, reckon I will be there..

Is there an Album with the new single..guess I should check out the site.

Charles I was an anal Smiths fan for years and kept up with Morrissey until about Your Arsenal, kinda drifted away after that one. I got Vauxhall & I on vinyl as a present when it was released, still haven't played it! Heard it wasn't bad though.

I got a free ticket for his You Are The Quarry tour, wasn't too impressed, he played There Is A Light twice.

First sam him in Dublin in 1991 at Dublin's worst venue, the National Boxing Stadium, it was the first gig of his world tour, his first post-Smiths gig (excluding that free Wolverhampton gig) and it was nearly a riot. Band were a bit messy but a memorable event. He finnished that tour in Dublin as well (the Point) and that was a much tighter gig.

I just feel he hasn't written anything he hasn't said before in ages, though as I said I wouldn't know as I don't buy his stuff anymore.

I live in the same area his parents are from in Dublin too.

XYZ, I saw Leonard Cohen (1988) and Pixies (1990) in the Stadium and they were both amazing concerts. It is a terrible venue, but if the music is good that doesn't matter so much. Leonard Cohen commented on stage as to how terrible a venue it is.

OK I'll give it a spin soon and report back Spence.

Padraig didn't he crack that joke about Dublin's millenium celebrations and the Stadium being that old too? something like that anyway...

Wow. Seeing Morrissey naked is, um, interesting. He's looking good for his age, though.
