I know its very late in the day (before tomorrow night) but I just wondered if any other folk from the board are going to see the Brighton gig tomorrow? I wondered if anyone has decided to be as silly as me and get to Brighton from London on he train. Then having to be up for work in London the next morning! Im sure some diligent person will post a set list so that I can discover the last few songs that I missed whilst running towards the station for the last train! |

I'll be there, but living in Brighton makes it an easy jouney ;-)It makes a change not to have to travel to London to see the GBs. I just heard them play live on 6Music - they sounded on top form. |

I'll be there, as will CGull and Seagle. Bring enough cash for the barbican cd, it's excellent. |

Wow! I managed to get my last train home from the Brighton gig. As you can see it is 03:23 in the morning in the UK - I finally managed to defeat London nightbuses and get home. It was a good gig - loads of new stuff. A highlight for me was Grant playing only maracas (as well as vocals) in time with a drum machine on The Statue: very nu-Radiohead. Grant then whipped on his acoustic guitar mid song to finnish the track. I had to leave afer Too Much Of One Thing. Did anyone manage to note down the setlist ? I really dug the Dostoyevsky T-shirts but didn't get one. Did anyone get one? They were alongside the Cattle and Cain Rough Trade Single T-shirts that were on offer at the Barbican. |

The T-shirt is great - cotton and comfy. I've not taken mine off for the last two days (well evenings if I'm telling the truth !!). |

I liked the Dostoyevsky t-shirt and was going to buy it until I saw the back with all the tour dates on like some bad heavy metal band. Ruined a good t-shirt! |

I was on the train home tonight listening to OA on the ipod, looked up and the bloke opposite me was reading Dostoyevsky, could n't help bursting out laughing. Not sure if looked like (pause) Dostoyevsky as I have no idea what he looks like but if he has a beard and glasses then Robert is right!!! |

Ooops, sartorial faux pas on my part – nothing new there then – don’t have enough hair to qualify as a heavy metal fan and no beard like the “D” man. Promise I won’t wear it to SBE on Saturday !! (Probably be a bit crusty by then anyway – ooh does that make me a heavy metal fan ?). |
