Question - are the bonus tracks from the 2CD version of "Oceans Apart" from the same show at the "Live In London" album? The 2CD "Oceans ..." is the only official release I'm missing and I'm wondering if I need those three tracks?

I'm pretty sure they are the same Lawrence. That's certainly what I've always thought.

Is my face red...just looked at the discography on this very site and you're quite right, Padraig. For whatever reason they sounded different to me, and I remember playing both fairly frequently in the days following seeing them live in 2005.

Both are recordings from the same show.

However, with the OA bonus disc you get the added treat of Robert's intro to People Say.

"When Bob Dylan played in London in 1966 the next song is one he forgot to play".

Thanks Pat for sharing. I had read they were the same but it's nice to hear Robert's famous sense of humor. Man, I miss these guys.

..the Live In London OA, where can I order or buy this gem...thank you..

As 6 May looms, as Matthias has indicated, the missing just grows a little heavier at this time.

Funny, I just sold a copy of Live in London. Honestly, while I'm sure it must've been a great show to experience in person, the recorded performance sounds kind of limp and staid. I'm happy just to have the OA bonus disc.

Jeff, I bought my copy of Live in London on June the 14th, 2005. Where did I buy it? At the Abbey Pub merch booth just before the G-B's set! I agree with you about the the sound of the disc, but I can't sell it due to sentinmental reasons. Robert, Grant, Glenn and Adele didn't sign it but they did sign my cd cover of Bright Yellow Bright Orange!

I really really adore the version of Bye Bye Pride from the barbican cd, the beautiful strings that start the song off work perfectly.

I haven't listened to it in a while, but I recall thinking the version of "Cattle and Cane" was pretty superior to other live performances of the song I'd heard, too.

Charles, on the initial copies of OA there was a five or six song (depending on where you bought it) extra CD of tracks from the Barbican concert.

Relistening to Live in London right now. The first numbers do sound only half there a lot of the time (which rather sinks the nice idea of kicking off with a bunch of old stuff) but after awhile it's obvious they're just warming up...by mid-disc they're cooking nicely. On to disc two.
