Much as I love Big Star I think I would plump for this if I had to chose. http://www.dominorecordco.com/uk/reissue s/19-05-09/box-set/ £60 is a bit steep though for stuff thats already available. |

much as i love robert wyatt i think i would not plump for this. i can not understand why domino does the same bullshit like all that major companies i.e reissue the reissues which they issued just a few month ago and put it into a new package -maybe a fantastic package and worth to have it as a hardcore fan like i am. but money not fall from heaven. but maybe i do them wrong: as far as i know nothing unissued will be in the box. a major company surely have done that just because they know that most of the fans outside will buy this (btw: anyone bought neil young's archive release? this is also something which fusses me) but to talk about robert wyatt means to talk about a sad thing: hugh hopper died at age of 64. http://www.jazzwisemagazine.com/componen t/content/10854?task=view this is so sad. what a great bass player. and he released some very fine albums (and i don't mean just the soft machine albums) (sorry for bad english, no practice because of absence) |
