It's strange that they refer to him as: "Perhaps best known as the father of Luther and Cody Dickinson, two-thirds of the Grammy-nominated North Mississippi Allstars." Like producing the Rolling Stones was less well known?

He is best known to me for producing Big Star.

He released an album a few years with Sonic Boom (Spectrum/Spacemen 3) called Indian Giver, some good (and pretty odd) collaborations on that record. Released as Specturm meets Captain Memphis.

First heard of him doing Red Headed Woman with The Cramps years and years ago.

RIP
