Has anyone noticed that Grant's teenage Rasputin has started taking 'Sting from a gin' rather then 'the sting'. It's on the Baribican CD, and he sang it this way in Liverpool. What can this minor alteration of the lyric mean? Is Sting an alcoholic? |

Also, "I took the wrong road", has become "you took the wrong road". I don't thimk Sting is interesting enough too have any bad habits! |

I'm sure there are many examples of lyrics sung live being different to the original recorded versions; e.g. "learning how to dance" in Cattle and Cane. |

Certainly. One which springs to mind immediately is the changing reference to oral sex in live versions of 'Headfull of Steam' over the years! 'Swallowing parts of me' indeed, Robert! |
