Has anyone noticed that Grant's teenage Rasputin has started taking 'Sting from a gin' rather then 'the sting'. It's on the Baribican CD, and he sang it this way in Liverpool. What can this minor alteration of the lyric mean? Is Sting an alcoholic?

I'm sure there are many examples of lyrics sung live being different to the original recorded versions; e.g. "learning how to dance" in Cattle and Cane.

Certainly. One which springs to mind immediately is the changing reference to oral sex in live versions of 'Headfull of Steam' over the years! 'Swallowing parts of me' indeed, Robert!
