Will any of these shows be recorded for CD's and/or filmed for DVD's?

Bought my tickets for the Sydney Metro show last night. $42 each. Not too bad I suppose. I assume they will be selling the Barbican show there.

I hope I don't encounter the same dickhead as last time who kept smoking his cigarette after I asked him to stop. I told him that he was a very tough guy. He didn't light up again though. I despise smoking and especially the arseholes who do so in non-smoking venues because they fancy themselves the type "the authorities can't reach".

Dare I say it, but the show is actually cheaper at Bulli: $31 including booking fee (Bulli is only an hour 15 from the sydney cbd). Add $35 for a sit down dinner. The Heritage hotel is this fabulous grand old miners hotel that has been done up a treat. The room is awesome and has the feel of late 80's/early 90's 3 weeds at roselle. The gang's all set...all 9 of us on the front tables!!!!!!! Can't wait to see one of the best Australian bands perform one of, if not their best album!!!!!

Do The Go-Betweens play New Zealand around the time they play Australia - I'll over in NZ around this time and it would be a bit of a Brucie Bonus to see them again.

Cheers
Jon

Anybody know if all the forthcoming Aussie dates will be the full band, or will it be just Grant & Robert acoustic like a couple of years ago. Cheers, and look forward to seeing you guys again.

Today I went on Citysearch's Melbourne section and, lo and behold, the first page has a link announcing the Go Betweens concert. Not bad exposure if you ask me.

When buying my tickets The Go-Betweens in The Metro I was first given tickets for The Go-Team by mistake. I really like the Go-Team album but can't imagine that it would be a good live show. Can anyone tell me any different?

I've been to see the Go! Team, it was quite good (I have heard that some are baaaad though)!

The set is short as well, depends how much they want, but its always nice to see someone different. The arcade fire are brilliant if you get chance to see them.

Gig Review Over.

Cheers
Jon

Just to answer David's question - the Barbican live CD will be on sale at the Australian shows.

Thanks Jonathon. Looking forward to it. I'll be at the Metro gig and I'm thinking of going to Bulli as well.
