today the go-betweens were on the austrian alternative TV music channel GoTV, hosting a one-hour special called "GoTV hosted by...". they were obviously invited to do it some time around their vienna gig 2 weeks ago. they were playing some of their favourite videos: it featured coral, belle & sebastian, madonna, bob dylan (as robert's picks) as well as david bowie, adam green & the cardigans (as grant's picks). they were funny as usual - robert being particularly proud of the "Forster-McLennan-Building" mentioned in the new episode of TV-realtime hit "24" with kiefer sutherland. i'm still trying to figure out if that was meant seriously. |
