I would love to see an old live Go-Betweens clip from a television show. Did the Go-Betweens ever appear on the legendary "Top of the Pops" when they were based in Britain? If so, what songs did they sing on the show? I'd also love to see TV clips of Robert F and Grant as solo artists, and also Cleopatra Wong (Lindy and Amanda's post-Go-Betweens project). If any of you happen to have a few can you please let me know? Thanks very much. |

You had to have a hit single to get on TOTP. In Australia they were on Countdown of course with Cattle and Cane and also Suzanne Dowling's show Rock Arena and The Noise I think with Annette Shun Wah. I have seen a tape of Lindy and Amanda with Donnie Sutherland on Sounds (Saturday morning kids' pop program), but they were just plugging an upcoming GoBs show, not performing. |

Robert and COW did "Falling Star" on Australian ABC-TV's Landline, which he mentioned on a live to air radio gig in '94. Has anyone got this clip? |

When "Rachel" was released they appeared on Jools' Hollands Later doing "He Lives My Life" and another tune of the album - I can't remember which one it was - possibly Going Blind. |

Oh, as for TV commercials, did the Go-Betweens appear in any? Or were any actual Go-Betweens recordings used in commercials? |

Oh, did any Go-Betweens recordings, including solo recordings by Robert Forster and Grant McClennan, and post Go-Betweens bands, make it onto the soundtracks on TV shows? |
