hey, is it just me or does it sound like they say "I want a tiger on bended knees"? It does not sound like they sing 'a bengianese', maybe it's just the version I have...

I'm sure he says '...on bended knees'. What on earth is 'a bengianese' when it's at home?!?! The link has to be wrong.

Of course tigers have knees Peter! How else would they bend! I checked on my daughters fluffy toy tigers and they quite clearly have knees.

The only mammal, apart from humans, to have knees are elephants.
Controversial, but true.

OK, I was lying, my daughter's fluffy toy tigers don't have knees. I didn't even check. I'm a bad person. The Tallulah list says so.

Just one thing:

the authors mentioned in the song are Brecht (not 'Brett') and Genet (not 'Rene'). It's really hard to understand what Robert is singing...

Hi everybody, I'm new here!
They are a french indie band from brittany, they are actually the people I first heard "karen" from...
They have covered it on their first album in 1991 "dans les faux puits rouges et gris"
As karen wasn't easy to find at that time...
