I heard this song for the first time recently. I have never considered the lyrics in detail. However, I assume that it is about the GBs. The "feminist" would be Lindy. The "tall man with a gift" is Robert. And the "boy with thin wrists" is presumably Grant himself, although I have not examined his wrists, and it could be about anyone for all I know. | ||

that's a pretty great song. sometimes it sounds like his voice is tripping over the words a bit but a great song. | ||

Oh yes, this is a fantastic song sung with gut feeling about .... I have no idea! But we've all been haunted by memories of someone or something so we understand the thrust of the lyric --- that's enough analysis for me. Also Signs of Life and Lighting Fires make this album Grant's best for me. (Fireboy) | ||
